Anonymous asked: What's the best kind of jewelry to wear after stretching your septum?
Hello! This really depends on the person. Some people like to wear pinchers after stretching their septum. Others like to wear retainers, but I like to wear steel no flare plugs. Pinchers can slide around easily unless the o-rings are tight, and I don’t like how that feels. Retainers are a pain to get in because of that “bump” you have to go over. I like to wear steel no flare plugs because they are rounded on one side, straight, and perfect to heal in. Other jewelry can bump into things and if you’re healing after stretching your septum, it’s something you don’t want to deal with. That is what I recommend! It’s all up to you, though. Just make sure you’re wearing the correct materials and wait a longer time between stretches. It’s different than stretching your lobes.
You should go and follow Iestyn Flye on here if you aren’t already, his scarification works are unbelievable.
